The Tooling Day event, organized by Trumpf Portugal, took place on September 22 in Marinha Grande and was attended by national and international speakers. The Director of CDRSP, Artur Mateus, made a presentation entitled “From molecules to parts: customization of local properties of parts through the application of inserts produced in SLM”, focused on solutions and trends of additive production for the mold industry. During this event, there was also the opportunity of visiting the CDRSP facilities, in particular, the Metal Additive Manufacturing Laboratory.
O evento Tooling Day, organizado pela Trumpf, decorreu no dia 22 de setembro na Marinha Grande e contou com a presença de oradores nacionais e internacionais. O Diretor do CDRSP, Artur Mateus, realizou uma intervenção intitulada “Das moléculas às peças: customização das propriedades locais de peças através da aplicação de insertos produzidos em SLM”, com o objetivo dar a conhecer as soluções e tendências de produção aditiva para a indústria de moldes. Durante este evento, houve também a possibilidade de visitar as instalações do CDRSP, em particular, o Laboratório de Fabricação Aditiva de Metais.
