João Gil is a researcher in the Biofabrication group at the Centre for Rapid and Sustainable Product Development (CDRSP) of the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (IPLeiria) since February 2018.
He finished his degree in Health Equipment Technology from the School of Technology and Management of the IPLeiria in 2014 and the Master degree in Biomedical and Biophysics Engineering at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon in 2017. His research interests are where the technology and life sciences meet. Regenerative medicine, Tissue engineering, Nanotechnologies, Medical instrumentation, Signal and Image Processing, Additive manufacturing, Materials engineering and Biotechnologies are examples of his interests.
