Fixing Part with Topological Optimization


This Part is produced in FDMet (Fused Deposition of Metal). The technology consist on manufacturing a filament with high load of metallic powder and a polymeric binder. This way it is possible to produce on a common thermoplastic printer. The parts are then subjected to a heat treatment which eliminates the binding polimer and consolidates the metal, which allows to produce metal parts at lower cost.
