3D Printed Project: “Barro de Café”

Brick models were designed to be 3D printed, using different meshes and creating a very porous structure. The paste is made from a mixture of 15% coffee grounds with red clay, the organic matter burns when it reaches 400°C, and the pieces of clay with coffee grounds go to the oven at 980 ° C. The final result are bricks of red clay with small/ micro holes all over making the piece very porous, and lighter.
