Nuno Rodrigues Faria is a Research Lecturer in the Department of Zoology and the department of Medicine at the University of Oxford, UK. He is also a visiting Professor at the Instituto Evandro Chagas, Brazil. He received his PhD in 2013 from the University of Leuven, and has since then authored over 21 articles, including in PNAS, PLoS Medicine, PLoS Pathogens, BMC Medicine and a first author research paper in Science in October 2014. Nuno has presented his work in over 50 conference talks, posters and keynote seminars across 14 different countries. He received his first degree in Instituto Superior Técnico, and a MSC in Medical Biology with Honours from the University of Amsterdam. His research interests include molecular evolution, virus epidemiology and phylogenetic inference.
