It was signed on September 7 a cooperation protocol between the Lena Group and the IPL-CDRSP. Was also presented the R&D individual project, approved by Portugal2020, SINALPLAS where some companies of Lena Group will work in partnership with CDRSP.

7 Master Students from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Almaty, Kazakhstan spent 2 weeks visiting CDRSP. They were able to see the range of research activities currently underway at CDRSP and some had the opportunity to prepare nanoscale fibres using electrospinning. They also visited a number of historic and cultural sites in Portugal.
The Minister of Science, Technology and Higher Education, Manuel Heitor, visited the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (IPLeiria) on the 10th of May within circuit of “Cities and Regions with Knowledge”. In this circuit, which began at 9:30 a.m. at the headquarters of the IPLeiria, the Minister visited its five schools, as well as some research infrastructures and projects.
